On Wednesday 6th March MFC brings you the Dragon Café in the City project in collaboration with Shoe Lane Library and the City of London. Join us for a fantastic mix of events online and in person.

12:00pm (120 mins): Pop in

An opportunity to chat with City of London & Shoreditch Park Neighbourhoods team, including details of their next Neighbourhood forum on 14 March.

12.15pm (30 Mins) - Laughter Therapy

This energising laughter therapy session is designed to lift the mood and calm the mind. Laughter can help relieve stress, release endorphins (our happy hormone) and lower cortisol (stress hormone). With laughter leader, Patricia Byrne.

In person at Shoe Lane Library and via Zoom. 

1:00pm (60mins) - Design Your Own Stencils 

Join artist Wendy Scott to make your own stencils then use them to make decorative papers and greeting cards. Art materials provided.

In Person at Shoe Lane Library.

2:30pm (90 mins) - Relax & Create: Drop In

Stay on or drop in for this self-led creative afternoon. Art materials provided.

In person at Shoe Lane Library.

No registration needed.

5:00pm (60mins):  Creative Writing

Join Wordsmiths for this pressure-free workshop.  A mix of structured writing activities to enable you to create fictional and true stories based on your own experiences. Designed to be inclusive of all abilities and experiences - the goal is enjoyment.

In person at Shoe Lane Library.

5:30pm (40mins): Yoga new series

Chillout at the end of your day with this relaxed session. Anya, Balance Garden will guide you with gentle movement, yogic postures and a focus on the breath. No  experience needed. Wear comfy clothes.
